Hey Jan, hope recovery is going well. Tell Donnie that Capn Randy and I are working on his forge as time permits and might get to test run it before the end of the month.

I'm guilty as anyone about not posting here on iKC. Barely have time to read a few of the posts that catch my eye. I moderate on a couple of other forums and by the time I finish duties there I need to be in the shop not sitting here. It's not due to lack of interest. I have noticed the traffic on many of the other forums has slowed a bit as well. Guess a lot of us are just too busy.

Hope things will pick up a bit as winter sets in and outdoor activities slow.

Jan,  For me Christmas came early this year.   I received a package with a community knife, a Colonel Coon stockman, an iKnife coffee cup and a pocket magnifier.  What a great surprise.  I had a really good time drinking coffee from my new cup while inspecting my new knives.   Thank you. Jim

Thanks for your kind words on my knife/knives! I need to work a little harder in the shop and elsewhere and actually try to sell a few knives! I see that Donnie is doing pretty well with his knives. He is a few steps ahead of me with his knowledge of forging. I am still doing blanks and stock removal.

You all take care. We have to get together some time when you and Donnie are up this way!
