Hi Scott,
Thanks for the tip on the whittling. I have always loved whittling myself though I am not good at it. My son wants to learn and wants his first knife to be a whittler. My great grandfather was very, very accomplished and I have a lot of his pieces that are really beautiful.
nothing much... I'm planing to do a give a way on the story board group after i get more people to join.... i bought 10 p-38 can openers off ebay (the same can openers Andy wrote about) I plan to do a best story contest... and i got confused and thought JJ was a convict LOL... i know he was the officer in the jail now.... i guess i have too many things going you know and my last day of school was yesterday so I'm all mixed up... Im shaken and stirred...lol
Actually the guy in the picture is Bear Grylls, and I think he had just eaten some sort of animal he caught. I learned some interesting stuff from his show, and I really admire the guy.
Thanks for the comments Scott, this seems like a cool spot for us "steel lovers". I've watched several of my friends lose their bikes over the years, due to "family" concerns. I'm just too stubborn to flex,....maybe why I'm still single after all these years!...lol.
No NO, the show it self... id would never rush you... Hmmmm... Atlanta, that would be quite a drive from maine... if you were here i bet you would make it there in record time...lol and add to your speeding ticket collection...lol (ya i saw the video...lol)
Hi Scott,
Thanks for the welcome. I'm looking forward to being in the knife community. Didn't go to the show in Marietta because my grandson was out of state. I'll have to go slow on collecting knives; making sure that my grandson enjoys the hobby, without Pop taking over! Hopefully, we'll learn together.
Thanks for offering help. I'm sure I'll take you up on it.

I did just watch that video, and thanks! Honestly, I'd never even heard of the thing. Is there any info about the one next year?

BTW, did you like the truck? I sent it back to the paint shop for additional work...
Let you know when it's finished.
