Of course, the winner bidder on that knife has had 28 bid retractions in just the past 6 months. There's a good chance that knife has been re-listed. Wayne, I'm sure you remember the conversations we used to have on Swiss Army Knights about the chap in China who was working in concert with another guy to drive prices up on some pretty rare SAK's that were listed on the EvilBay? Lots of crazy stuff goes on on Ebay.

A few months ago we had a conversation about these types of sales on Ebay. I talked with a lawyer about it. There were two schools of thought. The lawyer felt it was the most current way of laundering money. The other school of thought was that they didn't actually have the knife to sell so they priced it so high no one would buy it. Personally, I suspect the lawyer was probably right about the money laundering scheme.
