Hello, My name is Randy Haas, I am the owner of HHH Knives, in Michigan. I am a full time knife maker... Its my Passion and I thank God that he has blessed me to be able to make these beautiful, functional, working knives. My goal is to make every knife a very usable as well as extreamly beautiful working art!
Everyone asks whats HHH stand for? Its simple. Hand made, Heavy duty, Hunting knives. "HHH"
All the knives I make are designed and built to be used. made tough and designed not only to last, But to feel perfect in hand. Im a knife user first, and a knife maker second. So the function of the tool is of the utmost importance.... And I am a perfectionist, continually striving to make ever knife better then the last! I use the highest standards and materials when making every HHH Knife. From the choice of steels and handle materials, to the fit and finish. My knives are highly sought after and collected by many great folks from around the globe.
Recently My oldest son Randy Jr. age 19.. Has joined me working full time in the shop. He is forging damascus blades, as well as making knives, Keep a eye on this kid.. as hes going places in the knife world, His passion and excitement for the steel has breathed a new life into the shop.
Most of the knives I make are customs. meaning that the customer has contacted me and, together we choose the diffrent materials and styles of knife. This is a very cool way to get a new knife! I mean, think about it. YOU get to, pick the style of knife and also get to choose all the little details that make the knife YOURS! From the blade size and shape to the type of steel, to the materials used for the handle, guard and pins. Creating a beautiful knife that has your personalty and design aspects in every way!! I ask ya, What knife lover/user wouldnt want that?
Please feel free to contact me any time. Im a real person, and strive to provide the best customer service in the industry. I look forward to hearing from you.

Any of you use desiccants to protect your collections? If so, where do you live, (how humid?) and in what what do you keep your knives? (I make drawer cases for all manner of collectors -and lots of knife collectors- and wonder if I ought to help th…
I thought I'd jump in here and "end" this thread:
I did send the knife into Case Repair fellowing the instructions on the website. I intentionally tried to forget about the knife so I wouldn't drive myself crazy haunting the mailbox every morning i…
I suppose it all depends on the 'defendant's" political leanings. Seems to me that the enlightened left can get away with murder (or switch-blades), while the conservative folks get in trouble for saying 'dang-it' after something heavy lands on thei…
One has to be careful with WD-40 use, Only 10% of its ingredients are non-hazardous, the rest can be considered hazardous to varying degrees. The following is from the WD-40 Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS):

wow! yeah that's a fantastic list.
I think you need to add WD-40 or a similar product to help remove dirty oil from the pivots of folders or any moving parts and to help loosen stuck screws.
another item would be lok-tite or a similar product to s…
Add a can of Ren Wax to keep them nice and purdy and I also use a little bag of Silica gel to keep the moisture out !
You sure did a good list though! One doesn't even think of all the stuff that you use and accumulate.
