iKnife Collector

The online community of knife collectors

Many of our members joined iKC not only because of all the knife collectors here, but because it was a familiar interface- one that is very similar to facebook- easy to use and very social compared to all the other online knife venues. Well, today iKC added a new feature and one facebook users here and there will appreciate.

facebook currently is a bit larger than iKC. Yeah, membership is 564,121,840 as of today. I don't know about you, but as an active facebooker, I frequently share posts about my knife collecting hobby for my friends and family there to appreciate and learn from. One of my agendas for many years now has been to share the good news about knife collecting with everyone and facebook is a great place to do that.

So, if you are a member of facebook, iKC is now connected so that all of our content can be shared there, if you want. Yeap, photos, status updates, blog and forum posts, videos- everything really. Just look for the little facebook icon.

I've found my facebook friends find our hobby and the knives we collect very interesting.

Feel free to share your own posts and media (photos and video) with your friends there by simply clicking the little facebook icon below each item. Help spread the good news about our hobby and iKnifeCollector.

Once 5 members connect to facebook, we can design a more visual app linking back to iKC allowing our friends there to click to visit us here. If you have any questions or if the facebook icon isn't visible, feel free to email me scott@iknifecollector.com.

There's the app that we're using to link between the 2 and there's the other iKC page that you had created a while back.

What do you mean JJ? When you click the little fb box when viewing something it posts it w a link back to it here. On the other hand, when you do a status with the box checked - I'm not sure but think it links to your Profile.

Can't quite figure what iKC page I'm looking at on FB.  I know that there is an iKC page, but is this just an app to connect us and FB?  (

Noticed that Hog Hanner was using the app also.)

Scott/JJ ..

Looks like at least the 3 of us are up-n-running w/ this app .. which is GREAT by the way .. bound to catch on .. it's simply too good/easy/friendly not to.

Soooo .. should an area be set up (such as this right here) for member feedback & communal help ???

Thanks Dale. Just curious what do you need to do to "activate" here so you can post there?
