An interesting historical fact is that Hirojito, Emperor of Japan chose NOT to try and invade mainland America during WW II  because, as he put it: guns were as common among the American people as are the blades of grass. They did…

@Clint, I think you and I could have an interesting discussion about space aliens, but that's for another time. There are things in this world that are far more dangerous than guns, knives, and baseball bats.  Perhaps one should consider…

Well I am not going to start collecting baseball bats, so the knives stay with us.  The laws always confuse me, people that respect the "weapons" dont use them as weapons.  I agree with the alien thng Clint.

Shlomo- thank you for the kind words. As I said "I wonder what the latest knife nonsense is up in Canada now?" A legitimate question being that I also stated that it has been years since I've been up in a country that I…

Jan.... What I was explaining is....laws do not stop us from doing wrong.  Societies pressure and morality keep us in check....not laws.  Every adult in the USA could possess a fully auto machine gun with society as a whole would not be in…

Here in the state of Arkansas, when I take a trip into the "wilds" or "brush", I take my Kabar, Becker BK9 and BK1 and my tomahawk. How does a 9-9 1/2 in.  blade, and a tomahawk fit into the laws of Canada? I guess if your…

Clint, This is the part I find interesting... To me as a 40  year veteran police officer I can't see the whole knife gun craze.  EVERY person I ever arrested for knife and gun laws were in possession of the gun or knife illegally any…

Kent.... Shlomo is right but somewhat harsh, about Canada knife laws.  A check on the Internet revealed this. "Prohibited Weapon Article 84 of the Criminal Code of Canada bans the sale and possession of any knife that opens…

To that space blanket, I would add a fleece blanket. Light weight, and will add insulation to the space blanket.

Favorite Kind of Knives
I like tactical and small survival knives like the RAT Izula. I have just started collecting larger survival knives. It's weird because as my knife collection grows so do the blade sizes. I used to not like large folders and preferred 3" or smaller blades, but now I cannot stand my knife to have smaller than a 4" blade. I quickly realized that I could accomplish more tasks with the larger blades. I don't have a favorite knife company but enjoy a knife that gives you high performance and is affordable. Here are a few companies that I like. SOG, KA-BAR, Spyderco, ColdSteel and Kershaw.

About Me
Hey I'm Lee and I am an avid knife enthusiast and I currently review knives on youtube. I also have a kick ass fiance, Lynsie who shares all of my interests with me.
Interests
I like to watch movies and listen to music. Here are some of my favorite movies, The Man With No Name series and Lonesome Dove series. I also like horror movies i.e. Halloween 2007, Childs Play and of course all of George A. Romero's zombie movies, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo Neon Genesis Evangelion Drunken Master, Fist of Legend, Let Li's Fearless and Unleashed.
As for music: Slipknot and Deadsy are my two favorite bands. I also like Blue October,System Of A Down MCR, The Used, Panic at the Disco! and 80's pop music.
Other Hobbies
I'm also interested in primitive survival skills and try to incorporate those survival skills when I go camping. You could say that if I had the choice and the freedom I would want to be a "Moutain Man"; like Robert Redford in the movie Jeremiah Johnson. I also enjoy rock climbing, mountain biking and spelunking. I am also a very lucky guy in that my beautiful fiance does all these things with me and shares all of my interests with me. I also make custom leather sheaths for some of my knives and I like making stuff out of paracord.

How much is 'TOO" much?

Hey everyone, hope all is well. My birthday is just around the corner and I have been itching to buy a new knife. Only this time around I am interested in buying a semi-custom folder. Right now I cannot make my mind up on which knife I would want to buy, a Strider SMF or a CRK Sebenza. Both knives have an outstanding track record an will cost me a lot of money (Almost $500, depending on which one I decide to get). I asked my best friend Eric who is the co-owner of my local knife shop,… Continue

Hey William, I was watching your video on modding Spyderco knives with the ZipTie Wave method. I don't know if that's your original idea, but since I saw it from you, AWESOME job! I just hooked it up to my Tenacious, and let me tell you, I had no idea it would work that great. I chose black to match the G10. Nice job!
