- I have collected knives since 1963. I have served on the Board of Directors of the NKCA and the NKCA Museum. Also as President of the Kentucky Cutlery Assoc., of which I am a life member. With Col. C J Hyde I ran the NKCA Knife shows in Louisville Ky. for many years.

Just today we finally reached the fifty orders needed to have GEC make this custom #36 Northfield UN-X-LD Steel Buffalo Horn Sunfish made!
Dick, I will need you to send me your address and telephone number which are required for the FedEx shipping form that GEC will be using. My consolidating all of the orders and handing that list to Chris Tucker at GEC will make this process go forward smoother and faster, so please send me that info a.s.a.p. I will email you with instructions for making payment to GEC directly as soon I hear that GEC is ready to receive our individual payments, probably by tomorrow afternoon.

- Thank you Richard, upon looking at your page I realized I am communicating with a definate knife expert! great! Can you tell me if there are any large knife shows happening in Europe during the year? Since I live in Europe, American knife shows are a little far.

Me too; I'd pay three X, actually. I actually talked to them over the weekend about it, but with the economy like it is they are hesitant to invest in the tooling right now...maybe one day though.
