no i think in would like it without the hook carved into the spin! i would rather have the spine of the knife without the work on the back of the blade.

- jus a country boy!i been around some type of cuting instrment since i wuz old enough to remember.my grampa collected case knives and other like folders ,i got a barlow for my 9th bday an that wuz it.
